Shipping time 7 dni

Hand hammered iron crosses placed on the roofs of chapels and wooden crosses are among the characteristic products of Polish, Lithuanian and Belarusian folk art. They started appearing in Poland as early as 18th century as a testimony to the devotion and piety of the rural communities. Their unique form and artistic beauty led to the black smith's crosses being but on the UNESCO list of Cultural Heritage in Lithuania.

This cross was hand made by a Lithuanian black smith and folk artist working from scratch, without using prefabricated elements. It will make a splendid and original decoration on any wall.
